Welcome to The Symphony Music Academy. By accessing or using our website, services, courses, teacher directory, and learning platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account, enrolling in courses, purchasing services, unlocking leads, or using any feature of The Symphony Music Academy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
2. User Accounts
Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.
- One user may not create multiple accounts for fraudulent or misleading purposes.
3. Student Responsibilities
- Provide accurate enrollment information.
- Attend scheduled classes and sessions responsibly.
- Maintain respectful behavior towards instructors and other students.
- Not share course materials without permission.
- Not engage in abusive, fraudulent, or disruptive conduct.
4. Teacher Responsibilities
- Provide accurate profile and qualification information.
- Conduct classes professionally and ethically.
- Maintain student confidentiality.
- Deliver services as advertised.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
The Symphony Music Academy reserves the right to suspend or remove teacher accounts that violate platform policies.
5. Course Enrollments
Course enrollment requests may require approval from the respective instructor.
Enrollment does not guarantee completion certificates, performance opportunities, or employment unless specifically stated.
6. Payments
- All payments must be made through approved payment methods.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
- Applicable taxes may be charged where required.
- Payment disputes should be reported promptly to our support team.
STUDENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
Fee Payment Policy
- All course fees must be paid directly to Symphony Music Academy through the official payment methods communicated by the Academy.
- Students and parents are advised not to make any direct payment to individual teachers under any circumstances unless specifically authorized in writing by the Academy.
Security of Payments
- Payments made through Symphony Music Academy are recorded and secured by the Academy
- If a student or parent transfers fees directly to a teacher’s bank account, UPI ID,
digital wallet, cash, or any other unofficial payment method, Symphony Music
Academy shall not be responsible for:
- Financial loss
- Payment disputes
- Non-refund of fees
- Discontinuation of classes
- Fraudulent transactions
- Any other monetary claims
TEACHER TERMS & CONDITIONS
Revenue Sharing Policy
- For every student’s fee received by Symphony Music Academy:
- 80% of the fee shall be paid to the respective teacher.
- 20% of the fee shall be retained by Symphony Music Academy towards administration, marketing, student acquisition, technical support, platform management, and operational expenses.
Teacher Payment Schedule
- Teacher payments shall be released by the Academy according to its payment cycle.
- Only fees actually received by the Academy from students shall be considered for revenue sharing.
Restriction on Direct Fee Collection
- Teachers shall not request, encourage, or accept direct payments from students or parents.
- All student fee collections must be routed through Symphony Music Academy
- Any violation of this clause may result in suspension or termination of the teacher’s association with the Academy.
7. Wallet Coins and Lead Purchases
Teachers may purchase wallet coins to unlock student leads and access contact information.
- Wallet coins are non-transferable.
- Coins cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Lead pricing may vary by category.
- Lead availability is not guaranteed.
The platform does not guarantee student conversion, bookings, or business outcomes from purchased leads.
8. Intellectual Property
All website content including logos, text, graphics, course materials, videos, designs, trademarks, and software are the property of The Symphony Music Academy or their respective owners.
Unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, or resale of any content is strictly prohibited.
9. User Generated Content
Users may submit reviews, comments, videos, profile content, and other materials.
By submitting content, you grant The Symphony Music Academy a non-exclusive right to display, store, and distribute such content through the platform.
10. Reviews and Ratings
- Reviews must be genuine and based on actual experiences.
- False, defamatory, abusive, or misleading reviews are prohibited.
- The platform reserves the right to remove inappropriate content.
11. Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account without prior notice if we determine that a user has:
- Violated these Terms and Conditions.
- Provided false information.
- Engaged in fraudulent activity.
- Abused platform services.
- Violated applicable laws.
12. Limitation of Liability
The Symphony Music Academy acts as a platform connecting students and teachers.
We are not responsible for:
- Teacher performance or teaching quality.
- Student attendance or behavior.
- Third-party payment failures.
- Technical interruptions beyond our control.
- Losses arising from direct agreements between teachers and students.
13. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and processing of information as described in that policy.
14. Changes to Services
The Symphony Music Academy reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, service, pricing, or functionality at any time without prior notice.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page and become effective immediately upon publication.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes arising from the use of the platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
